Thanks Waz. Should be interesting when we push this version to our test environment. Need to ready my lawn chair, popcorn & camera for the fireworks show I really think we'll be getting.

This is from the installation guide and is an important note... I believe this is what BabakNYC was referring to in another post

Important: Release 8205 is a new feature release that supports new application development
and also includes incremental maintenance. Upgrade of existing applications from Release
8.2.x, 8.1.x, or an earlier 8.0.x or 7.7.x release is not supported for Release 8205. This will be
supported in a future release.

Good to know Chuck! Thank you! I think we may still try to update our test environment and see if the CM utility works or not to some degree. Maybe not. Will relay this to the team. Thanks again!

UPDATE: Our PM says it's a no go... Guess we'll update to 8205+ later this year or next when they support upgrades. RIP.... By then, we may be well under way with our move to Power BI anyways...

Interesting, I just upgraded 8.2.04 to 8.2.05 on our sandbox.

Had to manually run some scripts though.

If you are concerned, why not use change management and load into a new install ?

I suggested that myself, but our PM over Business Intelligence Reporting wasn't for it. Thanks for the idea though. On the same wavelength.
