WebFocus 7.6.5 running under Windows XP.
When I go into Web Console and select metadata, I get the above message. I have the same version installed on my desktop, the same action produces the applications under ibi/apps.
I suspect there might e something wrong in the install, but when I run the verification tool, everything is a PASS. Yes the server is started and Developers studio is unaffected (all the applications work). Any ideas?

The error sounds like it's coming from the reporting server side. You may want to check your server log and where approot is defined in your edaserve.cfg

Prod: WebFOCUS 7.1.6, Windows 2003

Dev: WebFOCUS 7.6.2, Windows 2003

Thanks for your response. The reporting server shows the above code. Not much to go on. The edaserve.cfg points to the correct approot location. I'll try to find rtfex.

I am now able to see the Application Tree when I select metadata in Web Console. I did nothing to resolve the situation. Thanks for your attention.
