The doc is pretty straight forward. If are installing WF on a clean box, the install process for WF should do all the config changes needed by IIS/Tomcat. Make sure to check the box for setting up IIS, Tomcat, or IIS/Tomcat. You only need to do manual editing if there is an error.

Sayed

WF 8.x and 7.7.x Win/UNIX/AS400, MRE/Portal/Self-Service, IIS/Tomcat, WebSphere, IWA, Realmdriver, Active Directory, Oracle, SQLServer, DB2, MySQL, JD Edwards, E-BIZ, SAP BW, R/3, ECC, ESSBASE

I'm not quite sure what your environment is - you're wanting to configure IIS, but running on a HP-UX box? Also, if you're still in the configuration phase, why would you still be using WebFOCUS 5.2.5? Back then you are limited to CGI delivery only, as well as the fact that you need to configure an additional piece of software to handle that (IIS could not handle that by itself.) And if you're wanting to configure a version that old with a new version of IIS (still don't know how you're running than on an HP-UX) you're asking for a big headache.

The "easy steps" wil be to either get a current version of the software or follow your install and configure document EXACLTY as it is written. Taking shortcuts will get you into a mess and I doubt you'll get help from techsupport. They'll also tell you to get the current version.

Regards,

Darin
