Hello All,

I would like to set up the following EXL2K ReportCaster report output:
BY school
By student
and have the school bursted into separate RC reports with that school's students in separate worksheet tabs.

Is this doable?

Thanks to all,
KT

I know that you can set up under the tasks tab to burst the report, select the report format but I am not seeing where you can select what field to burst on. This is an interesting question and would be very useful Smiler

The easiest way to accomplish a "worksheet breakdown" is by using EXL2K BYTOC but as far as I know that feature is not compatible with ReportCaster's bursting functionality.

You could attempt using a coordinated compound report but I haven't used that feature extensively and not particularly with Excel so I cannot provide detailed steps here but you could try and let us know. As Malinda says, that would be a very useful technique to use.

[SOLVED]

This answer here is that this can't be done.
We will think about a different design.

Thanks to all
