Kamesh,

When I want hours, minutes, and seconds considered, I use this in my master file:
FIELD=REF_DATE ,REF_DATE,
HYYMDS ,HYYMDS ,MISSING=OFF,$

When I just want year, month, day, I use this in my master file:
FIELD=REF_DATE ,REF_DATE,
YYMD ,DATE ,MISSING=OFF,$

Hope this helps,
Sean

Hi,
I have created my synonym in Hyymds format. I want to change all those YYMD format. I want to know is there any way I can change it OR only way is to change it manually.

Thanks

Hi reFOCUSing,
The problem for me is, we have around 60 to 70 synonyms created with that format and needs to change it to YYMD format. I just trying to find the way to do this when we create synonym itself OR by changing any property file.

It depends on the DBMS but as an example for MSSQL adding

SQL SQLMSS SET DATETIME OFF

to edasprof.prf before creating the synonyms will do what you want.
