Greetings,

We are planning to upgrade FOCUS for z/OS, from 7.1.1 to 7.6.3.

If anyone encountered issues with this upgrade, could you please share with us?

Thank you,
Dave

I just helped someone upgrade from 5.3 and 7.1 to 7.6.4 on z/OS. There were no problems with the 7.1 ... I was a little surprised as I was expecting a little something to go wrong. There was some problems with the 5.3 install, but all of those problems had to do with custom security settings and security workarounds. Minus that, the applications (MRE and BID) all moved seamlessly.

If you search on my id + 762 or 7.6.2 there's loads of details about the same upgrade you are doing only for windows platform and not zO/S.

Would suggest 764 as the best to upgrade to IMHO.
