When attempting to work with a .csv file in Excel the fields cut off and append themselves at the bottom.

For instance if I have 5 lines of data each made up of many fields totaling less than 500 characters the beginning half of the fields will print for 5 consecutive lines. The remaining fields for each line (separating at the same point) will then print starting on line 6. The data wraps, but it does not wrap from line 1 to line 2, etc.

Does anyone have a solution that will keep the fields together, printing across a total of 5 lines rather than splitting the output into 10?

Thanks for any ideas you may have, vickie

Vickie,
How are you generating the CSV file? And out of curiosity, why not just send to excel if using a WebFOCUS output? Maybe you could post a part of your code. Hard to visualize the issue otherwise.
