I don't know how the administrator set up the DB2 data adapter setting, but when he runs a fex from the Procedures tab of the WebFOCUS Server Console, he gets the following errors:

(FOC1394) CONNECT FAILURE
(FOC1400) SQLCODE IS -30082 (HEX: FFFF8A7E)
: [08001] [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30082N Attempt to establish connection fai
: led with security reason "24" ("USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD INVALID"). SQL

Is there a command I can put in the procedure that does the login connection to DB2?

Thanks a lot,

ENGINE [DB2] SET CONNECTION_ATTRIBUTES connection DSN_name/userid,password

Sorry about that, I should have checked the manual, I was in a bit of a panic.

Adapter Administration for UNIX, Windows, OpenVMS, i5/OS, and z/OS > Using the Adapter for DB2 > How to Declare Connection Attributes Manually.

Cheers, thanks a lot.
