Hello,

I created a report that will send out to our customers and right now, we are passing in certain shipper codes and creating distribution lists for each customer.

Instead of creating multiple RC jobs, is there a way to use one job and dynamically passing in shipper codes and distribution lists/email recipients in the same job?

I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Winnie

I've done this in the past, but I have always used the RC Java API to do it. I do not know of any other way to do what you are asking.

I would create the report sorted by shipper codes and have it bursted. then us the API to add users to the distribution list.

Thank you. I've done the burst report before but for what I'm doing, separate reports will have to be distributed to different customers.

As far as using RC Java API, will a different application work such as Power Builder App? We don't work with JAVA API.

Yes. But you will then need to consume RC web services to do what the Java API would do.
