Hello,

I'm using the WebFocus web services to return a report that I wish to embed in an existing HTML page. The problem I have is by default the HTML returned by the report contains its own META, TITLE, BODY tags etc.

I already have these tags declared in my page. Is there a way of just returning the report i.e. the report data and the table HTML?

I've not used the Web Service tool before, so this is just a shot in the dark. But if you are allowed to change the output format, try changing it to HTMLTABLE instead of HTML. That way it returns only the table portion of the return without any of the html, meta, head or body tags.

Just a thought.

Hello Tim,

Nice shot in the dark. Just tried your suggestion and it works a treat.

Thanks
