I am trying to access scanned PDF documents stored on a server at my location. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to use WebFocus to create a dynamic link to the address on the server. For example. I know the server location and the direcory the file is located in \\112.22.33.44\some_directory\. I need to append a number entered from an HTML page to the location followed by .PDF.

Not sure if this would help, but it may set you in the right direction...

&NUMBER would be the variable you pass in from the html page, you can move that around whereever you like to make it work for you...

-SET &ADDPATH = 'http://111.1.11.1/test_folder/';

DEFINE FILE CAR
	DOC_PATH/A200 = '<a href="' | '&ADDPATH' | MODEL || '&NUMBER' || '.pdf' | '" target="blank">' | MODEL | '</a>';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
DOC_PATH
END
