CHECK FILE PICTURE

Now that we can have Master file names of over eight characters, it would be nice to see the full Master file names in a CHECK FILE filename PICTURE command.
Our Masters have a six character prefix that render the table names in a CHECK FILE PICTURE command almost useless.

Is there a sub-command to CHECK FILE that I'm missing?

FYI,

Please contact Information Builder's Technical Support Help Desk and open up a new case to submit a New Feature Request (NFR) for expanding the filename display size for CHECK FILE filename PICTURE and RETRIEVAL.

The HOLD file that can be written from CHECK FILE already has an A66 field for FILENAME.

Hope this helps. Big Grin

Cheers,

Kerry
