I am trying (very unsuccessfully) to secure some of my reporting objects by using the IBIMR_user variable in the 'Where' object.
The statement is pretty simple, 'WHERE USERID = '&IBIMR_user';
USERID is a field in my master file.
I have no problem making this work in my MR Reports but it does not seem to work in a Reporting object. I have opened up a case with Tech support but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Can you describe what is happening? I just tried something similar in a Reporting Object, and it worked with no problems. Could it be because WHERE USERID = '&IBIMR_user' should really be WHERE USERID EQ '&IBIMR_user'?

Its my bad, I finally figured out that it was an issue with the backend SQL database server that was made case-sensitive causing the where condition to fail. Thanks for all your help!
