I want to retreive a file from MVS and read content from downloaded file.
File has input paramters for further execution.
Any details on how to FTP in fex and then place it in IBI folder to read content will be useful .

Thanks..

Assuming WebFOCUS has OS access, you can do a call to FTP.

The windows FTP command supports a script file containing FTP commands.

The call is FTP -s:scriptfile.

You will have to write out or have a script file available, then do the call.

DOS FTP -s:scriptfile
or
! FTP -s:scriptfile
or
WINNT FTP -s:scriptfile

I think you may have to have an absolute path to the script file.
