Distributing a PDF Layout Painter report

I created a report with the PDF layout painter with V7.1.4 of Dev Studio. I am having trouble with creating my own distribution code. I found that ReportCaster can not burst compound reports. It can in V7.6, but we don’t have it yet. I wrote code to loop and run each individual report and e-mail it. It appears that I am having trouble with opening or closing the pdf files. I am naming each output uniquely based on the parameter I am passing. The first report e-mails fine. The second has a blank pdf attachment and anything beyond that does not have an attachment.

The ECHO gives me an (FOC error because I added a SET COMPOUND=OPEN in the PDF Layout code. If I take it out, the code will only work if I run it for 1 individual and abends if I try running it for more.

Any suggestions appreciated.

You can't distribute more than one PDF report per RC job unless you are using bursting -which you already discovered has a problem with compound reports. You'll probably have to set up multiple jobs. Anyone else have any luck with this?
