We have users that have created a collaborative portal for public access. The completed portal has been placed in the Public folder. The problem is when the URL for the portal is executed the portal frame comes up but nothing else shows. If the user logs in to WebFocus then opens another tab and execute the URL the portal come up. Is there something that we are missing?

It looks like a security issue since everything does work when logged in.

Does everything, not only the portal but all elements within the portal, are also public ?

Does the security privileges are properly setup for an external (public) access ?

I have checked what I know about the security areas, which it seems is not much.

Only the portal link was placed in the public folder. The programs and widgets that support the portal was not placed there. They were shared to the public folder from the original folder.

I think you will have to grant run security permissions to the anonymous users security group for all components used in the portal.

Thank you for using Focal Point!
