Hi,

Is there a way to default alignment to the top without the use of a stylesheet? We have a heading that we would like to display as:

"Code List:<+0>&VAR2"

where &VAR2 can potentially be longer than a line.

The formatting commands for this line are:

TYPE=HEADING,
LINE=8,
OBJECT=TEXT,
ITEM=1,
FONT='TIMES NEW ROMAN',
SIZE=8,
JUSTIFY=LEFT,
WIDTH=1.125,
$
TYPE=HEADING,
LINE=8,
OBJECT=TEXT,
ITEM=2,
SIZE=8,
JUSTIFY=LEFT,
WIDTH=4.500,
$

I tried adding VERTICAL-ALIGN=TOP but it did not recognize it. Is there an option to align the heading "Code List:" to the top? We are displaying the report in AHTML, Excel, and PDF formats.

Thanks!

The html attribute is VALIGN="TOP"
but you have to put that in a defined style
and apply that style to your heading.
As Prarie says,
what is your heading doing now that you don't like
