I'm getting a FOC1354 "ACCESS FILE RECORD ABSENT, WRONG OR INCOMPLETE FOR SEGMENT" whenever I run a COMPILED MODIFY on a multi segment MFD. I've checked that all the MFD SEGNAME's have associated AFD's and that the DB2 Table's exist, correct field names exist, etc, but to no avail.

Has anyone got any suggestions of other problems that would cause this error message ?

Trevor,

When you say that each segment has an AFD do you mean that these AFDs are seperate? If so that may well be your problem. If you created your MFD yourself and added segments via pasting copies of the MFDs for each table, then you should perform a similar operation for the single AFD required.

If you don't understand that then contact the support team in London - 0845 658 8181 - and I am sure they will be able to assist.

Make sure you have your site code available before you call so that they can log their contact with you.
