Hi All,
I am a novice looking into webfocus code written by differnt team member.There is an urgent need to log wentrends on dashboad reports.Need help / sugesstions/ code for activating webtrends !! help!!

Nik, you need to contact your local IBI sales office and hire a consultant for a day or two.
We don't know what you mean by "webtrends", its not a focus reserved word.

What are they looking for in webtrends from WebFOCUS that they are not getting already from the webserver and / or java application server log files?

There are exisiting reports on the company intranet website that acts like a operations dashboard.Now the aim is to find out how many people accesed these reports and which one of the report was accesed the most.Hope this helps

Ok, that makes it easier to understand.
The best way to go is to buy and install Resourtce Analyzer.
It is a licensed add-on to the server and it can monitor whatever requests are executed by the server.
It comes with its own reporting environemnt, where you can see exactly what requests are being run by which user and also which datasources are used.
