Hi all,

iam trying to read the list of holidays from the file, which i placed in \ibi\srv77\wfs\bin\HDAYIDAT.ERR
iam using SET HDAY = IDAT

Iam getting error message "File not found"

Can anyone help me on this?

Try making the suffix of the file lower-case: HDAYIDAT.err

check the location of the file. Are you sure it is in wfs\bin?

Yes the Path is correct, it is wfs\bin....

But your profile states that you are using 7.6.2 so your folder would be srv76 not srv77.

There seems to be some conflict in where the file should be.

Using the search function (top right) for HDAY, there were a few instances that stated the file should live in ibi\srvnn\wfs\bin but others that stated it should be in ibi\srvnn\home\nls (which is where the other "err" files live).

I tried it in both and only ibi\srv77\home\nls resulted in no error message, however using the sample from Norb's recent post (cheers Norb Smiler) the WD- worked but the BD- gave a return of 0 - invalid date - which resulted in the base date being returned (19001231).

If you have need of business days functions, it would be worth raising a case on InfoResponse.

Oh, and remember to use the search function, it could have saved you a lot of time.

Hmmmm, most intreaguing!

Using the code below to write the file contents rather than just typing exactly the same data, worked for Business days whereas it didn't before! Confused

I must have some spurious characters in the original when I typed it myself?

Hi Tony,
It did worked on changing the path from ibi\srvnn\wfs\bin to
ibi\srv77\home\nls But Waht causes the problum,Because in 7.6 Environment it is able to fine from ibi\srvnn\wfs\bin, Why cont do that in 7.7, what makes the diffrence?
