dballestSwitch between 2 oracle clients
Our WF server had Oracle 8i client installed originally. We have a requirement to upgrade it to 10g. Our DBA is installing 10g client so we'll have both 8i and 10g client. Then we can do our test.
Is there a way to force the adapter to use the 10g client instead? Is there a configuration setting for this?
Thanks in advance.

Jason K.ODBC is ODBC. You won't see any performance difference, but 10g does have a lot of features that make life good for a DBA....especially if he's going from 8i to 10g.
Now, he'll spend the better part of his day putting on patches. Bless his heart.

Terry WhitmoreTake a look at this URL:

dballestThanks for the replies. It looks like we will need to remove all the adapters associated with Oracle 8i and re-create them all using the new Oracle 10g client.
