I am looking for a function I can use in an Info Assist Define to tell me what month a specific date falls into.
Example: 10/04/2011 = October Is there an automatic way to do this?
Right now my only solution is to write out the folloing define: IF DATE_FIELD GE 10/01/2011 AND DATE FIELD LE 10/31/2011 THEN 'October' ELSE IF DATE_FIELD GE 11/01/2011 AND DATE FIELD LE 11/30/2011 THEN 'November' ect. This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,
Thank you! the Mtr format is what I needed, knew I could get a numerical month, using format = M, but was not aware that the Mtr format would returning the actual word. Thank you for the assitance!
