I have a webfocus table that we use for our conboboxes which I would like to use with EXT GRID. In order to that I need to be able to pass the < !--WEBFOCUS TABLE XXX --> syntax to a javascript function.

So far it's failed, I think because of embedded CR/LF, but I am having trouble stripping them outy because I think webfocus does the replacement during page rendering, so it doesnt get passed to the function(again I think thats how its working).

does anyone know a way to pass this to javascript function?

Lloyd,

I guess you know that you need to have the < !-- WEBFOCUS TABLE XXX --> parsed via HTMLFORM? So I guess that you are trying to reference that table within your JavaScript function within the HTMLFORM? The question is how?

A piece of pseudo code showing how you are trying to achieve this might give a clue as to what your problem is. So far you've not given enough info.
