Ok, hope that I can explain this clearly. I've got a report that is summing quantities across locations. The user wants a row-total (got that done) but they also want a sub-total of specific locations on report. This is what report needs to look like:

Date Loc1 Loc2 Loc3 etc. subtotal Total
11/20/06 qty qty qty of loc1
& loc2
11/21/06 qty qty qty .....

Any suggestions/ideas? Thanks much!

Did this with Dev Studio, hokey way I suppose, the subtotals are columns in the report.

DEFINE FILE CENTORD ADD
BOSDAL/D7=
IF PLANT EQ 'BOS' OR 'DAL' THEN QUANTITY
ELSE 0;
ALLLOC/D7 = QUANTITY;
END
TABLE FILE CENTORD
SUM
BOSDAL AS 'Boston,Dallas'
ALLLOC AS 'Total,All Locations'
BY YEAR
SUM
QUANTITY
BY YEAR
ACROSS PLANT
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF
ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL AS 'TOTAL'

Thanks - that worked great - another question though. The subtotals are printing on the left hand side of the report, is there any way that you know of to move them over to the right? When I try summing the subtotals after the detail, I get an error because of my sorting request....
