Hi,
I have a report in which I am simply printing values in xls format.

TABLE FILE FI_SS_TOP_N_FUND_ISS
PRINT
FUND_NAME
EFF_DT
TICKER
FUND_PCT
IDX_PCT
REL_PCT

ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
END
-RUN

For the field TICKER there are values which have multiple spaces in between. So, While printing those values webfocus truncate all the spaces and print values .e.g There is a value as '(GNSF) GNMA 5.50% 7/41 #TBA' in database table which is gettting printed as '(GNSF) GNMA 5.50% 7/41 #TBA' in the report.I want to print all the spaces in the report as it is in database table. Can anybode suggest me the way to handle it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
There are 5 spaces in between (GNSF) GNMA and 5.50% 7/41 #TBA value.

Thanks.

It's not Webfocus that is losing the spaces, it's excel.
To accomodate for that, WebFOCUS has a setting, called SET SHOWBLANKS. When set to ON all white space will show as it is present in the database.
