I have a focexec where I am creating an exl2k output using the OVER command. My first column is not showing the entire amount of data on all the records (you have to double click on the column to show all the words ... the report is small width wise so there is lots of room to fit more characters so that's why the business doesn't want to do the double click). I want to expand the width of column 1. I've read Mickey's article on formatting (squeeze, width, etc.) but there is nothing I can find with the over command. I've been coloring the fields and it seems the commands recognize the colors, but don't recognize the width commands or any other commands I try. Suggestions? I had a similar issue a little while back but it wasn't with the OVER command. I've tried those past
suggestions with no luck. Thanks.

I would say there's a bug! As you state, setting the colour works, but setting the width does not.

Try TYPE=DATA, WRAP=OFF, $ it may work for you.

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
MODEL AS ''
OVER CAR AS ''
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
ON TABLE SET STYLESHEET *
TYPE=DATA, WRAP=OFF, $
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=C1, WRAP=6, COLOR=RED, $
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=C2, WRAP=6, COLOR=GREEN, $
ENDSTYLE
END
