Hi,

I have a compound report, where each report is contained in a separate <iframe> , with an IFRAME id. In the first IFRAME, there is the PRINT button. OnClick of the PRINT button, the print() js function is invoked with the different IFRAME ids passed as the parameters to it. In this case, one Print Window opens for each IFRAME id, ie., each report. Meaning, if there are 3 reports in the compound report, 3 different Print windows are opening.

There is a limitation that the reports cannot be placed within a single <iframe>.

PLease help.

Thanks,
RS.

ravi,

You problem is a JavaScript/HTML one and not WebFOCUS, try passing the parent window name to print as a whole although this will obviously print WYSIWYG.

Alternatively, and this is the way I would go, use compound PDF output for printable versions of reports as this format is better suited for printing. HTML is best for onscreen display only.
