Hello All,

I have installed the WebFOCUS 533 Server today to my machine. When I run my applications with this new server, the reports are coming fine but for the graphs it is throwing the following error:

ODIN_2 Error: Unable to connect using ODIN
an error in FATAL_ERROR (this should NOT happen) current error = 293 from p:\R720533B\source\wfcodin.c at line 2548 p:\R720533B\source\wfcodin.c$Revision: 1.37 $ Dec 8 2004 last error = 294 from p:\R720533B\source\wfcodin.c at line 2523 p:\R720533B\source\wfcodin.c$Revision: 1.37 $ Dec 8 2004

I shutdown the JSCOM3 port as given the tech report.(http://techsupport.informationbuilders.com/sps/10392037.html).
But the WF is showing the same error.

Can any one help me regarding this?

I got the same error when we moved up to 5.32 and got the following response via the IBI Support Centre:

"...your issue may be resolved by following the steps in the Manual WebFOCUS and Report Caster Installation and Configuration for Windows 5.3. p 6-9 JSCOM3 configuration."

It worked a treat.

I had been getting the same errors and followed the instructions and got it to work... ended up being that I didn't have the Client started at all... I never used it before so I didn't even think of it since I had the WebFocus Reporting server up and running through the services. and the other option in services of "WebFOCUS client configurator" was never running. Once this was running, the Server Side graphs worked well.
