I am developing a compound report to AHTML. The second component is a vertical-bar chart, and the other components are tabular reports.

When the chart is run alone, it behaves properly. But within the compound document it just displays a single labeled bar (The bars represent measures for a state; the one bar shown would be the first bar, if all plot points were rendered.

So it appears the compound document governor, for lack of a better term, is receiving a proper file for a bar chart with multiple plot points, but rendering it improperly.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Any idea what is happening behind the curtain, and what to do to remedy it?

What happens if you use other formats? Same behavior?

Hi Jack,

I am guessing that your chart is JSCHART format? If so I have seen many instances when there appears to be a conflict between the JS for the JSCHART engine and other JS libraries. Just try and append two or more JSCHARTS without issue - I normally resort to using the focexec in a URL of a SRC attribute of an iframe.

As AHTML has a huge JS library I am guessing that there is a very high probability of conflict being the cause. So the first thing that I would try is an alternative format to JSCHART - but you've probably already done that Wink

I'd be interested in the outcome of the case.
