Need to show parent and detail data in one html output page. Can this be done without using compound reports or is that the only way?

We use compound reports i.e. two TABLE requests outputting 2 HTML reports. Then we reference the reorts in the HTMLFORM etc. Just use unique names for the summary and detail reports (centering may help also).

The below is showing a blank browser.
!IBi.Fil. defines what?

Still new to WF and I hat how kluge some of functionality is. Did a knowledge search on HTMLFORM and it came back with junk. Just want to know what the syntex is?

rc, if you look at my code extract, you'll see that mytab1 and mytab2 are the output tables of the two separate requests in the fex.
Rather than dump the table to the screen, i hold it, and then present all the tables to the browser in one page.
!IBI.FIL.somefilename;
is one form of the 'bang ibi ' syntax, this case presents a file, 'bang ibi file'.
There are others, for presenting &vars, etc.

The !IBI.FIL.FILENAME syntax is used to include files into the code, usually a HOLD file containing HTML code. See the following example using the CAR database.

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RCOST DCOST
BY COUNTRY
BY CAR
ON TABLE HOLD FORMAT HTMTABLE AS 'THEFILE'
END
-RUN
-HTMLFORM BEGIN

What browser are you using? Did you do a View Source to see if the report results are in the browser but just are not being shown? Technically you are giving the browser an incomplete HTML page because you have no <HTML> <BODY> open and closing tags.
