I have a table that has pre processed and prepped various data.

This data has various dimensions like Client Data, Rep Data, Order Data, product data, etc.

When I created a synonym based off of this table, and then created my reporting object, when I go to structured view to make a report the data isn't organized into the different segments, its all categorized as being part of the table.

How do I structure the synonym so that when a user goes to make a report they see

- Client Info
* Client Field Names
- Rep Info
* Rep Field Names
etc.

You can either create a Business View and organize these in different folders or create Dimensions with hierarchies (both in the Synonym editor). The former simply organizes the fields and the latter will let you create drillable hierarchies that help with reporting. Both are documented under creating synonyms. All of these are purely WebFOCUS metadata based ways of enriching the data. Nothing goes into the DBMS itself.
