Not that way,Francis. From within a procedure. The purpose is.... if the the report is still running, I am going to show some dummy report, when the report is done running I am going to the show original report.

Ok, I will be clearer. Just the way when there are no records in the report we show a "Blank colorful Report" saying "Sorry ! No records for this selection.", I want to show a "Colorful Report" saying "Please Wait ! This report is still running." while the users wait for the report output.
So, is there any code that tells us that the report is still running just the way there is a code(
IF &LINES EQ 0
) to show us whether there are no records in the report ?
Thanks.

Follow Francis' suggestion to search for "Please Wait".
Also, if you think about your question, if a report is still running then there is not possibly a way to include any code in the fex that would return a value to tell you such. If a value could be returned, then the code would never be running. Nothing can be returned anywhere until the fex has completed.
The browser, however, would know if a result set has been returned. See above suggestion.
