Hi All,

Does anyone notice the bottom of text not coming out in a PDF footer?

for example

year

shows as :

vear

because the tail of the 'y' (and any other hanging character doesn't get shown)

anyone know why this is or have a work around?

cheers

Nubi,

I tried this and there wasn't a problem with the descenders (y and g).
I suggest you run this example and see if you experience the same problem.

-* File PdfFoot.fex
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT SALES
 BY COUNTRY
 BY CAR
 BY MODEL
 BY BODYTYPE
ON COUNTRY PAGE-BREAK
HEADING
"This is my heading"
" "
FOOTING BOTTOM
" "
"This is my footing"
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
END

" "
FOOTING BOTTOM
"This is my footing"

ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *

Nubi,

This looks like a bug. I suggest you notify IB.

nubi,

You could also try increasing the BOTTOMGAP for the FOOTING lines.

Thanks!

It sounds like WebFOCUS didn't have its brain engaged. Smiler

By the way, nice tag usage in the title. It really stands out. Whereever did you get that idea? Wink

Thanks!
