Hi,

Is there a way to set the alignment for the text data as left aligned, number to be right aligned and date to be center aligned as Iam trying to create a common stylesheet to be placed in a single path/FOLDER and which could be used included across all the other reports rather than hardcoding the stylesheet in each of the fex file.

$
TYPE=DATA,
COLUMN=N1,
COLOR=BLACK,
JUSTIFY=LEFT
$

Any hints/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Regards,
IP

You can definitely have a common stylesheet, but there's no stylesheet attributes to detect alpha, date or numeric columns, those statements will have to be based on the columns in each report.

Hi,

Thanks a lot Francis...
But am thinking if I can use TYPE or OBJECT=TEXT ;
type OR object=NUMBER;[Not sure of the exact syntax]

Doesn't this work.

any suggestions/hints will be highly appreciated!

Thanks,

OBJECT=TEXT and OBJECT=FIELD are the only two OBJECT related attributes and they relate to content embedded in a HEADING, FOOTING, SUBHEAD, SUBFOOT (not used for report columns) - TEXT is for hard-coded text or Dialogue Manager variable containing text, FIELD is for a field in the internal matrix. Nothing can distinguish alpha, date, or numeric report columns.
