sample code:-
TABLE FILE TFSP
PRINT Col1 NOPRINT
Col2 NOPRINT
Col3
Col4
Col5
BY Col1
BY Col2

ON Col1 SUBHEAD
"Col1<|0>Col2
"<|value1<|0><|valuel2
HEADER
"Col3<|0>col4<|0>col5
"<|value3<|value4<|value5"
____________________________
The output report should be like this.

Col1-- Col2 ------------ Col3-- Col4--- Col5
value1--value2 -empty space----------
----empty space------- value3--value4---value5

col1, col2 are sorted fields, starts at line 1. I am looking for a space after that, i.e whenever sorted value changes. Other values col3,col4,col5 starts from 2nd line at 3rd column position. Report painter, developer studio, HTML output. How do I align data with column headers. Pl give complete demo code.
Thanks for a kind help,
rama

Do you mean a blank line which would separate the sort values? If so, add after the first " in your SUBHEAD.
As a hint on posting: enclose you code and sample outputs within [ code ] and [ /code ] tags (without the spaces between the square brackets.
