Hello,
Right now when I open my active reports all of the detail is visible. Is there anyway to save an active report in a rolled up view, so that it is summarized when the user opens it. Then they could expand down to the detail level?

I don't know if this will help you but you can choose to present a data grid in accordian format as opposed to tabular. You can find this toggle on the Format tab of the Report pull down on the left just below the Initial Presentation pulldown. Hope this helps.
