Hi,

We're looking at trying to develop a map using ESRI. Do we also need to purchase the Adobe Flex software, or what? Thanks.

Hi Mike,

In order to deploy maps using ESRI, you'll need to purchase an ArcGIS Server made by ESRI. The complete list of required components is described starting on page 21 of the following document:

WebFOCUS Adapter for Geographic Information Systems: ESRI ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Flex API 7.7.02

Regards,

Kathryn

Thanks Kathryn,

I already have a copy of the documentation, and we do have ArcGis already (we have a GIS group in IT here). They've already created the map service. I'm just having trouble getting the webfocus side set up.
