I've created a html file with a drop down box for Year called '&DYEAR'. In the program it called there's a where statement as follows...

WHERE ( TICKETOUTAGEYEAR EQ '&DYEAR' );

TICKETOUTAGEYEAR contains a Year value, 2008, 2009 etc...and the drop down box works for the Year selected. However I need to have a Default statement for the program called and drill down report to execute. Without the Default statement they don't run.

-DEFAULT &DYEAR='2008';

But when I include the Default statement it's Defaualts to the year coded obviously. Is there a way to have the drop down box override the Default statement, or recode the Default statement so the drop down box drives the logic? The year drop down is currently working to the fex's called just not the drill down report due the Default statement.

The DEFAULT is just that, a default value if the parameter is not passed to the program. The drop-down box value will override the default value, if the parameter names are the same. It is possible the parameter is not being passed in the drill-down link - you must have the parameter in the style-sheet drilldown.

Something like:
TYPE=DATA, COLUMN=YYZ, FOCEXEC=PGM1 ( \
CAT='&CAT' DYEAR='&DYEAR'...

Thanks for the reply, I had the incorrect drilldown name coded, it's working correctly now.
