Hi,

i have following set of values from which THE FIRST 10 MAXIMUM need to be displayed i.e. if i have

86%, 93%, 34%, 78%, 12%, 12%, 12%, 12%, 12%, 87%, 34%, 56%, 67%, 9%, 10%, 11% (with 34% -2 times and 12% - 5 times)

i need to display first "10 max records" i.e.

93%, 87%, 86%, 78%, 67%, 56%, 34%, 34%, 12%, 12%

But when i use

TABLE FILE FILENAME
COMPUTE V_VAR/D20.2% = (ABC/DEF)*100;
BY HIGHEST 10 TOTAL V_VAR
BY FIELD1
END

i get 15 records with 34% - 2 times, 12% all 5 times, along with 11% and 10%. i.e.
93, 87, 86, 78, 67, 56, 34, 34, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 11, 10.
Whereas i need only 10 maximum records NOT first 10 maximum values.

if i use RECORDLIMIT EQ 10 then few records are not fetched and i get wrong records.

please reply asap.

PRINT
COMPUTE V_VAR/D20.2% = (ABC/DEF)*100;
BY HIGHEST TOTAL V_VAR
BY FIELD1
ON TABLE HOLD AS TEMP
END
-RUN

TABLE FILE TEMP
PRINT V_VAR
BY FIELD1
WHERE RECORDLIMIT EQ 10
END
-EXIT
