I have a subfoot row in my EXL2K report that has four cells, each holding a formula, but displaying the result of that formula. I'm trying to align the displayed result of the formula so that it is centered in the cell.

ON TABLE RECAP
FLDA/A200='<tr><td>Section Total:</td>';
FLDB/A250='<td align=center x:num x:fmla=''=IF(SUM(B8:INDIRECT("B" & ROW()-2),)>0,SUM(B8:INDIRECT("B" & ROW()-2),),"")''>0</td><tr>';

ON TABLE SUBFOOT
"<FLDA<FLDB"

I've tried changing the HTML, and using TABFOOTING and SUBFOOT in the stylesheet, but can't sem to find the right combination.

Does anyone know how to do this?

So are you wanting HTML as your topic suggests, or EXL2K as your post suggests? They are not the same thing. HTML is not displayed in the cells of Excel.

Also, the individual components of your subfoot line are not placed in their own cell - they are just part of a text line. If you want them in their own columns/cells, they will have to be part of some sort of subtotal (SUBTOTAL,RECOMPUTE,SUMMARIZE,RECAP)

EXL2K output.

In order to get the formula into the excel spreadsheet, but have it display as the result of the formula, I have to pass it out as HTML.

Have you tried
TYPE=TABFOOTING, ITEM=1, JUSTIFY=CENTER, $
TYPE=TABFOOTING, ITEM=2, JUSTIFY=CENTER, $

This did not work. I tried TABFOOTING and SUBFOOT.

I just spoke with my customer. They are willing to accept the row totals as not centered.
