This is for a problem we were about to post, but finally (after hours of work) figured out. We're posting on the Forum for others' (and who knows - maybe our own) future reference, since we didn't see any posts for our original error that took us to the answer.

Our Business Intelligence Dashboards were getting an error.

Error Number: 19101.

Possible causes:
ibi.webfoc.wfmre.mrutil.WFMRError: 32034

The first discovery we made was that the password had changed for the id being used for Public User.

We logged into Business Intelligence Dashboard View Builder, selected Public User and entered the new password. But we kept getting the same error, and the edaprint.log kept showing a "(password failure)" for that ID.

We checked in other places to make sure that we had the correct password for that ID, and we still got the error.

We tried using a different valid user ID for the Public User, but still the log showed a "(password failure)" error but for the ***original*** ID that had been used for the Public User. We were stumped.

Finally, we found the following in a TechSupport post for a different problem:

Error 32034 translates to Eda State -17 which means there is a problem
connecting to the reporting server due to an invalid userid or password.
Please login to Viewbuilder and select the Server option. This will
be the place to set the correct userid and password for the reporting server.
This information gets stored under an encrypted file called worp_eda.epd
under /ibi/WebFOCUS53/worp/conf/.

Turns out that the same user id was used for Server and Public User login for BID.

We changed the password for the Server User ID to the new password, and that fixed the problem.
