I'm getting the following error message when trying to logon to ReportCaster.

ReportCaster error - [Miscosoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket.

What can be the issue on this???

When you were setting up the 7.6.4 report server did you include the JDBC drivers?

Is this a new installation or did it stop working suddenly? If it's new, did you try running the testcfg program after installing as suggested in the install manual? If that all works OK, there are a couple other things to try. My suspicion, as PHawk suggests, is that the JDBC connection to your repository is not set up properly, which will be evident when you run the testcfg program.

It seems that the server this was located on was turned off. We are in the process of resterting it and seeing if that is all. Thank you for your help!!
