Hi,

I have a HTMLFORM in my fex(fex1) that contains a Submit button, which runs fex2. So, when the html page containing fex2 comes up the URL looks like this-http://localhost:8080/ibi_apps/WFServlet

Fex2 again runs fex3 to bring up a final report. So from the html page containg fex3, if I click on the back button on the browser, it redirects to http://localhost:8080/ibi_apps/WFServlet, which is not a real url. So, i get this message below

Warning: Page has Expired
The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button

How to get around this?

Hi,

Not sure if you can get around this. This is similar to submitting a form and then going back on the browser. It'll try to repost information back to the server.

To get around this, you may want to put a 'back' button on the HTML page of fex3 that links back to fex2.

Best Regards,

Jimmy Pang

I do have links/buttons within my reports/pages to redirect to the correct pages. But what if the user chooses to use the browsers back button instead?

dev, what's puzzling is that you are building something on 'localhost', which means you are using devstudio on your own desktop. So there can't be any 'other users' running a fex on your desktop.
When you built your launch page, were you aware that the application you were in was on your desktop and not on your server?

I would check the cache settings on your browser.

If it is set to refresh on every visit then no history will exist and it will need to be rerun.

However as you have seen you do not have the real URL so it cannot rerun via a refresh.
