Hi

I would appreciate if someone can provide a code example for the following scenario (Webfocus Developer Studio 7.6.10 on windows)

1. In the HTML RL (composer) 3 iframes were defined.
2. The first iframe displays the following:

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SALES
BY COUNTRY
END

3. When the user clicks on a country name , simultaneously 2 different reports will be opened in the 2 remaining iframes in the same html page (one showing a graph of sales per CAR for the specific country and the other one a Tabular report showing other info per the COUNTRY)

4. Preferably this "simultaneous" drill-down would be also available from a multi-drill down menu, so when the user clicks on a COUNTRY name in the first iframe, one of the options within the multi-drill menu would be to simultaneously open the 2 different reports within the page.

5. the layout of the dashboard html page:

2 rows

in the first row: iframe1 which will render the first report, adjacent to iframe2 which should show the graph
the second row: iframe3 which will show the detailed report per COUNTRY

Thanks in Advance

Yours

Eran

Eran,

I am surprised that Danny has not advised you or that you do not know yourself! (as Tom says, he must be on leave!).

I would be inclined to use javascript to change the SRC attribute of the three iFrames on main form submission.

Hi

Thanks for your suggestions

Danny is not on vacation and this is a question we both dealt with trying to find a solution using just the GUI (with preferably a generic "black box" )

The soultion will involve a js function used in the drill down to invoke the 2 subsequent fexs in the iframes, defining the targets for each drill-report.
