Just for this one report, whenever we try to use the sort feature for any of the columns, we get the following error.

0 ERROR AT OR NEAR LINE 198 IN PROCEDURE ADHOCRQ FOCEXEC *
(FOC262) UNBALANCED PARENTHESES
(FOC009) INCOMPLETE REQUEST STATEMENT
BYPASSING TO END OF COMMAND

there's nothing interesting about line 198 in my .fex so I'm really confused about what the problem could be or where to even start looking.

any ideas?

Are you dynamically generating your sort? If so, the line in question may not exist when just looking at the fex. Have you tried to set ECHO on? Can you post the code? Does the code have any -INCLUDE statement?

Hi Jason,

Did you open a case with Information Builders' Customer Support Services regarding this issue? If not, then I would suggest you to do so, and also upload your fex and master file for review.

Hope this helps. Smiler

Cheers,

Kerry
