I'd like to know if/how WebFOCUS can receive emails, and if this can then be used as an event to trigger the running of a report?
The scenario here is that a system is producing an email that gets sent to a list of sales people everytime a deal is done. However, this email is in simple text. They want to jazz up this email so that it has some impact with the sales people and encourages competition. Hence, a requirement to receive an email, filter the address list, subject and text, then reformat in HTML, before resending to the address list.
Any tips would be most appreciated. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

Another product from IBI/iWay Software is call Service Manager. It has an email listener that can be used to accomplish what you are looking to do and MUCH. MUCH more.
out of the box with the core product then you are correct. The 2-Way email and iWay SM are both addons. The 2-Way email is an addon to the MRE/CUS/Portal component. But what it sounds like you are trying to do may require the iWay SM component.
