Francis MarianiHFREEZE and EXL2K
I am tickled pink that HFREEZE works with an EXL2K report - it causes the headings and column titles to freeze, using the normal Excel Freeze Pane functionality.
The odd thing is that I have two fairly similar reports and it behaves differently for both. For one, the complete heading and column titles (including across titles and values) are frozen. For the other, only the heading is frozen. I can't figure out why it behaves differently.
I can't find any documentation about HFREEZE and EXL2K so am I just lucky that it somewhat works?
Am I the only one that finds the documentation regarding report styling really confusing? HTML, EXL2K and PDF are very different, but they're all discussed in what I feel is one big jumble. It would be nice if the output-format-specific documentation was organized by output format. It is specified that "For HTML output (and for Excel 2000 output, which uses HTML alignment)...", but there are HTML features that will not work with EXL2K (e.g. HEADALIGN=INTERNAL)...

Francis MarianiExcept that these Excel templates don't work with Excel 2010.

Francis MarianiSorry, I should quote John:

Only thing to be aware of is that the .mht file should be created with Excel 2003 or Excel 2000. While you can create .mht files in Excel 2007 and 2010, they will not work the same way. We are on Excel 2010 and I have a copy of Excel 2003 as well so I can maintain and create new .mht files

I couldn't agree with you more. Have asked for this and even tried to start a list on Focal Point - but to no avail. It would be SO very nice to have!
