Hi ,
I have a simple report. I have the symbol <-> in the heading and it is not displaying it properly. How do I do that?

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT MODEL
HEADING
" <+0>PART1 <+0> <->Between "
END

DEFINE FILE CAR
 WORK/A3 = '<->';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
HEADING
"PART1 <WORK Between "
PRINT CAR
IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 1
ON TABLE SET STYLEMODE FIXED
END
Yields:
PART1 <-> Between
 CAR

Put it in an amper variable.
-SET &WINGDING = '<->';

Table file car
Heading
" &wingding Between "
Print car model seats retail dealer
By country
End

NOT. Using a &var offers no advantage -- the line that gets stacked and later interpreted will contain the resolved content, so it's as if it were hard-coded in the first place.
