Hi,
I have a situation in maintain where I have a Read/Write Grid to directly update the datasource.I have few dropdowns at the top based on which values are populated in Grid.Actually there many rows which is shown in a single page.I want to show them in multiple pages.Suppose there are 100 rows for single set of filter values in dropdown.I want to display it in 10 pages with each page containing 10 rows of data.There may be more than 100 rows which will be accomodated in subsequent rows.Can anyone please suggest me a way to handle this kind of scenario in maintain?

Thanks in advance.

There are two easy ways to accomplish this. The first, that I recommend, is to load ALL of the data into one main stack. Then copy 10 rows at a time into a display stack. For example:

For all next Records into Allstk
Compute Page/i3=1;

Stack clear displayStk
For 10 copy from Allstk(Page) into Displaystk

Then on your form have arrows that show Prev 10 and Next 10. If they select Prev, subtract 10 from Page. If Next, then add 10. If course you can add code to make sure that Page doesn't become negative or too high.

The other way is to ONLY retrieve 10 records at a time from the database but that wouldn't be as easy to go to the previous page.
