I am trying to indent my data rows so that they show up about 5 spaces inward from where the title starts. This is a "Name" alpha column. I have tried adding spaces and tabs to the beginning of the data, but it keeps removing them when the report runs.

Any suggestions?

For PDF, you can use LEFTGAP:

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
SALES
BY COUNTRY
HEADING
"HEADING 1"
" "
ON TABLE SET PAGE NOPAGE
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, SQUEEZE=ON,
FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=8, $
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=COUNTRY, LEFTGAP=0.25, $
ENDSTYLE
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
END
